This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of premium billing, receipts, disbursements, and overall policy premium details, while maintaining a high level of customer service.\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nInvestigate, audit, and resolve inquiries from customers, including policy status, payment remittances, return premiums/disbursements, cancellations, and reinstatements.\nResearch, review and process unidentified/suspense/exception premium receipts.\nReview, audit and authorize premium disbursements timely.\nManage sorting, prioritizing processing and recording premiums receipts received in house timely and accurately\nPrepare correction entries for keying errors due to payment misapplication and bank errors.\nAssist in completing moderately complex calculations, auditing premium and billing account analysis.\nAssist with fulfilling internal and external audit requests.\nCreate and track pending items (i.e. unidentified, suspense, exception items).\nMaintain proper documentation and filing of supporting documents.\nPerform OFAC clearance and Premium Collections follow-up and resolution.\nSPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare moderately complex calculations, auditing of billing accounts and analysis.\nAnalyze pending items (i.e. unidentified, suspense, exception items).\nAssist with ensuring that billing documents accurately reflect terms and conditions agreed to by the organization and comply with Department of Insurance rules and regulations.\nMonitor that billing processes are executed timely and accurately.\nPerform premium billing audits to validate accuracy, detect discrepancies, and support system stability and financial integrity.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma required.\nAccounting course preferred.\n1 to 3 years accounting work experience required\nExceptional typing and 10key by touch skills required.\nExcellent oral and written communication.\nIntermediate Excel and Word
