This position operates forklifts and reach trucks, maintains accurate inventory locations, supports receiving, replenishment, and order fulfillment, and helps ensure that customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.\nThe role requires a strong commitment to forklift safety, attention to detail, teamwork, and compliance with Company policies and standard operating procedures. The Forklift Operator will also support a clean, organized, and productive warehouse environment while communicating inventory or safety concerns to leadership.\nJob Responsibilities\nFollow all safety procedures for forklift and reach-truck operations.\n\nSafely operate forklifts and reach trucks to locate, load, and unload pallets.\n\nMaintain accurate inventory locations and perform inventory replenishment with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.\n\nCommunicate inventory improvement opportunities, such as incorrect labeling or product placement, to the supervisor.\n\nReceive, inspect, and sort inventory.\n\nPrepare customer orders for shipment and delivery.\n\nUse technology, including scanners, computers, and tablets.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse and ensure aisles remain clear and safe.\n\nComplete the required forklift maintenance checklist.\n\nPark and place the forklift on charge at the end of each shift.\n\nForklift Safety Requirements\nWear the seat belt when operating a sit-down forklift.\n\nDo not engage in horseplay or misuse forklifts or reach trucks.\n\nSound the horn while traveling near blind intersections and around corners.\n\nDo not allow riders; forklifts and reach trucks are for one operator only.\n\nChock truck and trailer wheels before entering with a forklift.\n\nDo not raise or lower loads while traveling.\n\nLower the forks to the ground when the forklift is fully stopped.\n\nNever raise or transport a person on the forks.\n\nInspect the forklift before each shift and immediately report any unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.\n\nQualifications\nMaintain a current forklift operator certification.\n\nSuccessfully complete forklift recertification in accordance with Company policy.\n\nFollow all safety standards for lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.\n\nMaintain a positive attitude toward cross-training.\n\nDemonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.\n\nHandle products carefully to prevent damage.\n\nFollow all Company guidelines, shipping procedures, and standard operating procedures.\n\nDemonstrate basic scanner, tablet, and computer skills.\n\nOperate material-handling equipment safely and effectively.\n\nStand and walk for extended periods.\n\nLift up to 50 pounds.\n\nWork comfortably in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, and noise.\n\nDemonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills when working with team members and leaders.\n\nAbout CFS Brands\nHeadquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, CFS Brands is a market-leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of commercial foodservice, healthcare, and industrial hygiene products.\nCFS Brands is committed to creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce.
