Job Title: EHS Specialist Reports to: EHS Sr. Manager Location: Batavia, IL About the Position: The EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for the assigned facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while helping build a strong safety culture that protects employees, supports operations, and reduces risk. The EHS Specialist partners closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership to integrate safety into daily work. This role provides hands-on support in risk identification, hazard control, training, and incident management. This position is site-based in Savannah, GA. Essential Job Functions: Safety Leadership & Culture Support execution of the site’s safety strategy and prevention-focused initiatives. Participate in Gemba walks, safety committees, and employee engagement activities. Assist in identifying hazards, evaluating risk, and implementing corrective actions.
