The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, productivity, and quality. This includes the operation of basic forklifts in the handling of products.\nResponsibilities:\nLoad and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner, recording all necessary paperwork.\nTransport product to storage areas using proper equipment and efficiently stacking and storing product.\nPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.\nOperate warehouse equipment safely, and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.\nCheck product for accuracy in inventory, damage, and complete paperwork.\nAssist in maintaining the security of the facility.\nConduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment including looking in the direction of travel, driving at an appropriate speed, and appropriate use of the horn.\nSweep and clean areas including trailers as needed.\nAbide by all company rules and policies regarding conduct and safety.\nExperience & Qualifications\nPrevious warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred, but not required.\nForklift experience preferred; ability to become forklift certified and safely operate forklifts, including a Bendis forklift.\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use basic hand and power tools to assemble crates, pallets, fixtures, or other shipping materials as needed.\nAbility to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, labels, and basic written instructions.\nBasic math skills to accurately count, verify, and record inventory and shipments.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to follow all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulations.\nDemonstrated reliability with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.\nWillingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to meet business demands.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and climb as needed.\nAbility to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.\nAbility to safely use basic hand and power tools, including box cutters, tape dispensers, drills, nail guns, saws, utility knives, and other tools required to build, assemble, package, or prepare products for shipment.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with varying temperatures, moving equipment, and noise while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWork Environment:\nWork is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery, forklifts, varying temperatures, and moderate to high noise levels.\nRequires the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.\nPosition involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift.\nOvertime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility may be required based on production and business needs.\nCFS Brands:\nHeadquarters located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, CFS BRANDS is a market-leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of commercial foodservice, healthcare, and industrial hygiene products.\nCFS Brands is committed to creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce.
