You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable data pipelines and data integration solutions, with a strong focus on Python and Apache Airflow/Astronomer.\nApplicants must be permanently authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any temporary employment visa (e.g. OPT-STEM, H-1B, CPT, etc.) now or in the future.\nThis role is hybrid (2x per week) for those located in the NYC Metro Area, or fully-remote in 23 select states*\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and optimize data pipelines in Astronomer, utilizing latest coding practices and industry standards, modern design patterns and architectural principles\nDevelop Airflow DAGs, operators, tasks, and reusable Python components for data ingestion and transformation\nWrite clean, modular, maintainable Python code\nMonitor and triage the data pipeline processes\nDevelop and maintain process and data documentation\nApply a software development approach including testing, documentation, modularity and dryness, CI/CD workflow, issue management and remediation\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\nMinimum 7 years of experience required in data engineering or operations roles with a focus on Snowflake, SQL, AWS\n2+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting production Apache Airflow workflows; Astronomer experience, strongly preferred\nStrong Python development skills, including experience building production data pipelines\nStrong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nExcellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and time-management skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment\nFamiliarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, or similar)\nAbout Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB)\nCommunity Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) is a federally chartered bank founded in 2001 and headquartered in New York City.
