Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will define target-state architectures, shape strategic roadmaps, and ensure data platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned to business objectives. You will possess strong architecture leadership skills, deep expertise in modern cloud data ecosystems, and the ability to engage confidently with both executive stakeholders and technical delivery teams. A strong background in Databricks, modern Lakehouse architectures, and cloud-native data solutions will be essential, alongside a passion for helping organisations realise the full value of their data.\n\nEssential qualifications and experience:\n\nProven experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Data Architecture roles\n\nExtensive experience delivering large-scale enterprise data and analytics solutions\n\nStrong track record leading architecture across complex transformation programmes\n\nExpert knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark ecosystems\n\nDeep expertise in either Microsoft Azure Data Platform Services or AWS Data Platform Services\n\nWorking knowledge of the alternative cloud platform\n\nExperience designing modern Lakehouse architectures and enterprise data platforms\n\nStrong understanding of data governance, metadata management, lineage, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks\n\nExperience developing enterprise data strategies, architecture roadmaps, and governance standards\n\nStrong stakeholder engagement, consulting, and communication skills\n\nExperience operating within large-scale enterprise or regulated
