This position also analyzes, de-bugs, tests, modifies and documents technologies and applications. This role requires the effective use of advanced AI techniques, including multi-agent orchestration and spec-driven development across technical assignments. As a member of a development team, the individual will receive specific work direction, most often from more senior software developers or assigned technical lead. The individual will be expected to solve moderately complex technical issues and complete programming tasks with limited supervision. This is an individual contributor role.\nThis is a 5-year fixed-term position.\nThis individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.\nWe value early, mid and late-career candidates and encourage all applicants with the posted skills and abilities to apply.\n Participate in the analysis of functional requirements\nParticipate in the mapping of functional requirements to technical designs\nProvide estimates for development tasks\nDevelop source code and unit tests according to technical designs\nParticipate in code reviews\nContribute to technical documentation\nApply AI tools and techniques to accelerate, improve, and enhance the quality of work across all listed responsibilities\nParticipate in the Incident Management process and fix defects on a 24/7 basis\nComply with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements and ensure all others are doing the same\n Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience\nTwo years of relevant professional experience\nStrong understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies and principles\nClear and accurate written communication skills and great attention to detail\nIntermediate skills in engineering/programming, analytical/diagnostic/troubleshooting, web technology, and programming methodology\nConceptual understanding of systems and subsystems\nFamiliarity with Cloud Based Platforms and services\nPractical understanding of DevSecOps \nFamiliarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles\nSignificant experience using AI in the role of an agent orchestrator and use of spec-driven development techniques\nExperience understanding, troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing complex Power Platform applications, including C# plugins, cloud flows, canvas apps, and custom components\nAzure DevOps experience for complex Power Platform applications\nExperience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Application Insights\nBasic knowledge of applicable software, computer languages, and code to perform the responsibilities of the role \nDemonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages \nThis job operates in a professional environment \nTo successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment\nPreferred:\nProfessional experience with large-scale systems including strong experience in the tools, methodologies, and technologies the role supports\nStrong understanding of computer systems;
