We welcome civil engineers from site development, land development, transportation, municipal infrastructure, water resources, and related disciplines who are interested in applying their expertise to aviation projects.\nThis opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer pursuing a first formal leadership role or an established leader seeking greater responsibility while staying engaged in technical project delivery.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead civil engineering planning, design, and delivery for airport infrastructure projects, including airfields, terminal-area site improvements, roadways, parking facilities, and utilities\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, aligning technical work and project priorities to meet scope, schedule, and budget commitments\nMentor and coach junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and support professional development within a collaborative team environment\nCoordinate work assignments, balance team workloads, and guide day-to-day execution in partnership with senior leadership\nManage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical quality, applying QA/QC processes throughout project delivery\nBuild strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams\nSupport business development by participating in proposals, client meetings, and project pursuits\nPerform periodic field observations during construction, participate in progress meetings, and support construction administration activities as needed\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required\nMinimum of 4 years of progressive civil engineering experience in civil site design, land development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, aviation, or other horizontal infrastructure projects required\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required\nDemonstrated experience leading engineering projects, mentoring junior engineers, or coordinating technical teams and work assignments\nPrevious formal people-management or section leadership experience is not required; candidates ready to step into their first formal team leadership role are encouraged to apply\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships\nStrong experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or comparable civil engineering software\nWorking knowledge of QA/QC processes, engineering standards, and project delivery\nExcellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills\nReadiness to take on formal team leadership responsibilities while continuing to contribute technically\nParticipation in professional engineering organizations is a plus\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nLead challenging infrastructure projects that support airport safety, sustainability, and operational excellence\nMentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions\nCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environment\nCurious about the impactful work our Aviation team is doing?
