This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise on impactful projects while continuing to expand your engineering responsibilities and professional growth.\nWhat You'll Do:\nIndependently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for for electric distribution planning and infrastructure projects\nDevelop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership\nIdentify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard engineering procedures and utility best practices to improve system reliability and performance\nMonitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize delays in critical infrastructure projects\nTake responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments, system assessments, and infrastructure improvement initiatives\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required\nMinimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required\nCYME experience strongly preferred\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred\nStrong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings\nUnderstanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards\nProficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset\nParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nContribute to electric distribution projects that improve grid reliability, resiliency, and long-term system performance for utility clients\nCollaborate with experienced engineers, planners, and utility professionals on initiatives that support infrastructure modernization and energy transition goals\nExpand your technical expertise through diverse distribution planning, system analysis, and utility design projects\nEnjoy the flexibility of a remote work environment while helping deliver the reliable energy infrastructure that communities depend on every day\nCurious about the impactful work our Electric Distribution team is doing?
