In this role, you'll partner closely with project managers, engineers, and finance professionals to support project financial performance, contract compliance, billing, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of power delivery, industrial, and manufacturing projects.\nWhat You'll Do:\nManage the financial administration of an assigned project portfolio, including project setup, revenue methods, rates, budgets, organizational assignments, and intercompany billing in Deltek Vision\nReview budget-to-actual variances, coordinate with project teams on necessary updates, and help maintain accurate estimates and project plans\nEvaluate subconsultant invoices for accuracy and partner with Accounts Payable to support timely cost recording and payment\nGenerate and review project financial reports, identifying items that require follow-up or escalation\nSupport financial projections and forecasts by helping identify potential risks, opportunities, write-offs, and margin impacts\nReview contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and subcontractor terms while monitoring compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, MWBE requirements, Certificates of Insurance, and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements\nMaintain key project documentation and assist with company financial, regulatory, and client audit activities\nPrepare accurate draft invoices, obtain project manager approval, and submit completed invoice packages within established timelines\nMonitor unpaid receivables and unbilled costs while coordinating with client Accounts Payable contacts and navigating external billing portals to support timely payment\nWhat You Bring:\nAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar area required\nUnderstanding of revenue accounting, invoicing practices, financial tracking, business systems, and project management systems\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities\nExperience with Deltek Vantagepoint or a comparable enterprise accounting system highly preferred\nPrevious experience in a professional service, project-oriented, fast-paced, or high-volume environment\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nSupport impactful projects that help modernize energy infrastructure, enhance manufacturing operations, and strengthen critical facilities\nBuild expertise in project financial management systems, forecasting, compliance, and revenue recognition practices\nSalary Range:\n$31.25 - $33.65\nSalary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.\nCulture/EEO Statement:\nAt CHA, we work every day to create solutions, help people, and improve our world, committed to creating and fostering excellence in our diverse and highly talented teams.
