Working closely with clients, technical specialists, and project stakeholders, you'll help drive project success from pursuit and planning through design and delivery while contributing your expertise on impactful transportation initiatives.\nThis position offers fully remote capabilities; however, occasional on-site responsibilities may be required if you are located near the listed CHA offices.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead proposal development and establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with multidisciplinary transportation project teams\nServe as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships and ensuring project goals are achieved from planning through completion\nDevelop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct project planning and coordination efforts across highway, rail, traffic, structural, and environmental disciplines\nManage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, agency coordination, and quality control processes to support successful project execution\nOversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and resource management\nLead contract administration, consultant coordination, and project documentation throughout all phases of delivery\nFacilitate project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders\nSupport marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Highway & Rail portfolio\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management or related field required\nMinimum of 9 years of industry experience required, including 6 years of project management experience \nDemonstrated experience managing client relationships, understanding contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects\nExperience with CTDOT required\nProven experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required\nExperience managing project accounting processes-including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow-required \nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred\nProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment\nAbility to solve problems independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style for various audiences\nAbility to travel as needed required\nPMP certification, PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent professional license preferred\nConsulting industry experience highly preferred\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nLead transformative transportation projects that improve safety, mobility, and connectivity for communities across the region\nPartner with transportation planners, engineers, environmental specialists, and infrastructure experts to deliver complex, multidisciplinary solutions\nBuild long-term relationships with clients, transportation agencies, and key stakeholders while helping shape future infrastructure investments \nCurious about the impactful work our Highway & Rail team is doing?
