In this role, you'll apply your advanced surveying expertise to support a wide range of projects, leading field and office efforts, preparing high-quality survey deliverables, and collaborating closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to help bring critical projects to life.\nWhat You'll Do:\nApply a thorough understanding of field and office surveying standards to collect data and prepare accurate survey plans and documents\nUse Land Development software to process field data, generate digital terrain models and contours, and produce high quality mapping deliverables\nConduct boundary research and prepare written boundary descriptions with precision and clarity\nPerform and verify survey computations, traversing, layout work, and map interpretation\nCreate and review sketches, CAD drawings, and related documentation to support project accuracy\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience \nMinimum of 7 years of related survey experience required \nProficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD design software required; MicroStation, InRoads, and Braintree experience preferred\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment \nThorough knowledge of the surveying industry, including field survey operations, survey equipment, and data collection processes \nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions, including navigating rough or uneven terrain as needed \nValid driver’s license required; ability to travel short-term preferred\nLSIT or PLS licensure preferred\nWhy You'll Love It Here:\nPlay a key role in delivering the accurate survey data and geospatial information that help shape critical transportation, utility, land development, and infrastructure projects\nEnjoy a dynamic mix of field and office work, leveraging advanced survey technology while contributing to projects from initial data collection through final deliverables\nExpand your expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects, gaining exposure to evolving technologies, complex challenges, and opportunities for continued professional growth\nCurious how CHA’s Survey team is building safer, more connected communities?
