We currently support more than 30 blockchains, translating on-chain data into actionable intelligence.\nIn this role, you’ll:\nArchitect and evolve scalable, reliable, and performant systems for ingesting and parsing complex blockchain data.\n\nLeverage AI-native engineering workflows (LLMs, automated agents) to increase team velocity and code quality.\n\nProvide blockchain protocol expertise (EVM, UTXO, etc.) to the team and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nManage the full software development lifecycle, including production monitoring, debugging, and maintaining reliability of our pipelines and services.\n\nWork closely with Product Managers to ensure our datasets meet the evolving needs of the crypto ecosystem.\n\nGuide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design docs, and technical mentorship.\n\nWe’re looking for candidates who have:\nExtensive experience building distributed systems or data-intensive applications.\n\nExperience working with TypeScript either in a professional or personal capacity\n\nA bias to ship and the ability to iterate quickly in a fast-moving environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to leverage AI assisted development tools to increase velocity while maintaining reliable, maintainable code.\n\nA deep understanding and experience of at least one Blockchain protocol\n\nYou might also have:\nKnowledge and experience with non-EVM chains such as Solana, TON, and Sui.\n\nExperience with indexing and ETL at scale (Spark/Databricks).\n\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing services in Kubernetes.\n\nContributions to open-source blockchain projects.\n\nTechnologies we use:\nLanguages: Java, TypeScript\n\nData Processing: Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL\n\nInfrastructure: AWS (Serverless & EKS), Kubernetes, Terraform\n\nCI/CD: GitHub Actions\n\nAI at Chainalysis\nAI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working.
