As part of Chainalysis, we're building the next generation of fraud prevention technology that enables organizations to stay ahead of scammers while delivering seamless customer experiences.\nRole:\nAs a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey, partnering with prospects and customers from initial discovery through deployment and ongoing success. This hybrid pre- and post-sales role combines solution consulting, technical implementation, fraud prevention expertise, and customer enablement. You'll work closely with banks, fintechs, payment providers, and crypto businesses to understand their fraud challenges, design tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation of Alterya's AI-powered platform.\nIn this role, you’ll:\nPartner with Account Executives and Sales teams to lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.\n\nHelp customers evaluate Alterya's fraud detection capabilities and align solutions with their fraud prevention strategies.\n\nDesign and implement customized fraud detection workflows using AI-driven behavioral intelligence and risk signals.\n\nLead technical onboarding, API integrations, and deployment of Alterya's platform into customer environments.\n\nCollaborate with customer fraud, risk, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.\n\nAdvise customers on emerging fraud trends, scam typologies, and fraud prevention best practices.\n\nTroubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing solution guidance throughout the customer lifecycle.\n\nPartner with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and influence future product development.\n\nDocument implementation best practices and contribute to scalable enablement resources.\n\nWe’re looking for candidates who have:\nOwn Proof of Concepts (POCs) end to end, including planning, defining success criteria, execution, and successful completion.\n\nEnables sales teams through training, product education, and ongoing technical support.\n\nWork across multiple products, helping bundle solutions and bridge knowledge gaps between teams.\n\nPrioritizes high agency, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly over specific domain expertise. 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar.\n\nExperience working with fraud prevention, financial crime, payments, banking, fintech, or cryptocurrency solutions.\n\nExperience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs and supporting technical implementations.\n\nStrong understanding of fraud detection, transaction monitoring, AML, scam prevention, or risk management concepts.\n\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer communication skills.\n\nExperience managing multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.\n\nA proactive, self-driven mindset with strong collaboration skills across technical and commercial teams.\n\nNice to have experience:\nExperience with AI or machine learning-powered fraud detection platforms.\n\nKnowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or digital asset ecosystems.\n\nExperience with SQL, Python, or scripting languages.\n\nFamiliarity with KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, or financial crime compliance solutions.\n\nExperience working with enterprise financial institutions or fintech organizations.\n\nTechnologies we use:\nREST APIs\n\nWebhooks\n\nSQL\n\nPython\n\nCloud-native SaaS platforms\n\nAI/ML fraud detection platforms\n\nCRM and customer success tools\n\nAI at Chainalysis\nAI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working.
