The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in dispatch operations, material identification, pallet preparation, and truck loading.\nThis role requires someone who is organised, accurate, safety‑conscious and able to work under pressure while ensuring all materials are correctly identified, marked, recorded and loaded before dispatch.\nKey Responsibilities\nDispatch & Loading Coordination\nDispatch Oversight — Coordinate and oversee the complete dispatch and loading process\n\nMaterial Identification — Identify and verify contract‑specific materials for each delivery\n\nMarking & Allocation — Ensure all materials are correctly marked and allocated to the correct project\n\nTruck Loading Planning — Plan loading according to space, weight and delivery sequence\n\nLoad Completion — Ensure all required items are loaded before the truck departs\n\nDispatch Documentation — Conduct final checks against dispatch lists, delivery notes and packing lists\n\nPacking & Preparation\nPallet Preparation — Assist with packing and preparing materials onto pallets\n\nLoad Securing — Ensure materials are packed, secured and protected against damage\n\nLoading Supervision — Assist with and supervise physical loading of materials\n\nCoordination & Communication\nInternal Liaison — Liaise with workshop, stores, production, contracts and transport teams\n\nMaterial Accuracy — Ensure correct materials are dispatched to the correct site\n\nDiscrepancy Reporting — Identify shortages or incorrect materials and report to management\n\nRecord Keeping\nDispatch Records — Maintain accurate dispatch and loading records\n\nDelivery Documentation — Ensure signed delivery documents are returned and filed\n\nLoad Evidence — Take photographs or maintain records of loaded materials\n\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nSafety Compliance — Comply with all Health & Safety, quality and dispatch procedures\n\nSafe Loading — Ensure trucks are loaded safely and efficiently\n\nGeneral Duties — Perform other dispatch‑related duties as required\n\nMinimum Requirements\n3+ years’ experience as a Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatch Controller / Logistics / Stores / Loading\n\nProven practical experience loading materials onto trucks\n\nExperience identifying materials against contracts, packing lists or delivery documentation\n\nExperience planning and coordinating truck loads\n\nExperience packing materials onto pallets\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nGood organisational and planning skills\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines\n\nGood communication skills\n\nComputer literate\n\nAbility to work effectively with workshop, stores, production and transport
