Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupport the data engineering team by writing ingestion scripts, executing automated data tests, monitoring pipeline schedules, and maintaining BI reports on the Group's cloud data platform.\nAssist senior data engineers in writing SQL and Python ingestion and transformation scripts.\nExecute automated data tests to support data quality.\nMonitor pipeline job schedules in Apache Airflow and escalate failures and delays.\nMaintain Looker reports and dashboards.\nSupport data transformation tasks using dbt on Google BigQuery.\nHelp investigate and resolve basic data ingestion issues under guidance.\nCollaborate with the data engineering team, learning and applying data engineering best practices. \n What you’ll need to succeed \nMinimum 1 year of experience in data engineering or a related technical area.\nWorking proficiency in SQL and Python.\nExposure to Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and dbt.\nFamiliarity with BI tools such as Looker.\nFoundational understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data quality concepts. \n What we can offer you \nWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
