Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.\nWhat you'll be doing \n Build, maintain, and monitor automated data pipelines on the Group's cloud data platform, transforming raw transactional data into reporting schemas and developing BI dashboards to deliver reliable, analytics-ready data.\nBuild, maintain, and monitor automated ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt, and Airbyte on Google BigQuery or another MPP data warehouse, such as Snowflake.\nTransform raw transactional data into reporting schemas and curated data models using dbt and SQL, applying dimensional modeling.\nOptimize data warehouse performance through partitioning, clustering, and query optimization in BigQuery.\nDevelop and maintain Looker BI dashboards (LookML) and Power BI reports for business stakeholders.\nIntegrate data from a variety of source types, including e-commerce, POS, and ERP feeds, APIs, databases, and files, using tools such as Airbyte as well as custom-built integrations.\nHandle data ingestion incident resolution, monitoring pipeline jobs and ensuring reliability, uptime, and data freshness.\nWrite clean, performant Python and SQL for ingestion, transformation, and data validation, and participate in code reviews and Git-based CI/CD workflows.\nCollaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver analytics-ready data and support data quality checks.\nWhat you’ll need to succeed \nMinimum 3 years of experience building and operating data pipelines.\nProficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in dbt for data\ntransformation and dimensional modeling.\nExperience with Google BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, query optimization), orchestration (Apache Airflow), and ingestion tools (Airbyte).\nHands-on experience with core cloud concepts and containerisation, including Docker and Kubernetes (e.g. GKE).\nExperience developing BI dashboards with Looker (LookML) and Power BI.\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT development, data ingestion incident resolution, and BI and data warehousing concepts.\nHands-on experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for AI-assisted development.\nWhat we can offer you \nWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
