Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.\nWhat you'll be doing \nThe Department Supervisor supports the Department Manager in ensuring smooth execution of daily tasks and operational standards within the department.\nKey responsibilities:\nSupport the day-to-day operations of the department and ensure smooth execution of daily priorities.\n\nMaintain a strong presence on the shop floor, supporting the team, serving customers, and leading by example.\n\nEnsure excellent customer service standards are maintained and assist in resolving customer queries and routine complaints, escalating when required.\n\nDevelop and maintain meaningful connections with VIP clients, actively build a client book, and support ongoing client engagement and retention.\n\nMonitor product availability, replenishment, stock handling, and department presentation to ensure standards are consistently met.\n\nSupport the execution of visual merchandising guidelines and overall store standards within the department.\n\nFollow up on assigned tasks and ensure actions are completed accurately and on time.\n\nSupport effective team scheduling by monitoring punctuality, attendance, and rota adherence.\n\nCoach and train team members on product knowledge, customer experience standards, cash handling, stock processes, and grooming requirements.\n\nSupport checkout operations during peak trading periods and ensure a smooth customer experience at point of sale.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve the customer journey and share feedback and insights with the Department Manager and Floor Manager.\n\nHelp reduce operational and POS errors through regular coaching, guidance, and follow-up with the team.\n\nEscalate people, customers, or operational concerns to the Department Manager when appropriate. \n\nWhat you’ll need to succeed \nProven experience in a retail leadership role within luxury fashion.\n\nStrong product knowledge and experience across Women's Ready-to-Wear and/or Leather Goods.\n\nDemonstrated success in leading, coaching and developing sizeable retail teams.\n\nA hands-on, floor-focused leadership style with the ability to motivate, influence and drive positive behavioral change.\n\nA genuine passion for luxury client experience, relationship building and service excellence.\n\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.\n\nFlexibility to work across retail shifts, including weekends.\n\nWhat we can offer you \nWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
