Role Overview

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing the company’s portfolio of partnerships, ensuring strong day-to-day performance, effective execution of partnership initiatives, and alignment with commercial objectives. The role manages the partnership lifecycle from onboarding through to performance management, optimization, and renewal, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable results.

What you'll be doing   

  • Ensure clear ownership, effective prioritization, timely execution, and accountability across key deliverables.

  • Set and manage priorities based on business needs, commercial impact, partnership performance, and deadlines.

  • Develop and execute tactical campaigns with strategic partners throughout the year, aligned with brand priorities, key trading periods, and relevant launches.

  • Strengthen existing partnerships through new activations, exclusive offers, and joint marketing initiatives that enhance customer relevance and generate incremental value.

  • Monitor the day-to-day performance of existing partnerships, tracking key KPIs, identifying underperforming programs, and implementing actions to improve results.

  • Identify opportunities within existing partnerships to increase transactions, customer engagement, conversion, and incremental revenue.

  • Work with external partners to ensure partnership programs and offers are consistently communicated to their customer base through CRM, email, digital, social, and other relevant channels.

  • Maintain and use partnership performance dashboards to monitor results, identify trends and opportunities, and track progress against commercial and financial objectives.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Tech, RSO, Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Customer Care teams to support partner onboarding, contracting, technical integration, financial setup, reconciliation, compliance, and operational execution.

  • Monitor outstanding and overdue partner payments, coordinating with Accounting and Finance teams and following up with partners to ensure timely collection and resolution.

  • Act as the main point of contact between external partners and relevant internal stakeholders, proactively resolving operational and commercial issues.

  • Prepare regular updates for management covering partnership performance, pipeline, key initiatives, risks, and growth opportunities, including clear recommendations and action plans.

What you’ll need to succeed   

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or a related commercial role.

  • Proven experience managing partnerships, campaigns, negotiations, and partner performance.

  • Strong commercial, analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in retail, loyalty, payments, travel, or related industries is an advantage.
