Join our team today!\nPosition Overview:\nThe CAD Drafting Supervisor will be based out of our Sherwood Park office and is responsible for managing workflows for our Alberta Drafting Technologists and coordinating ongoing project operations. This includes distributing assignments, managing computing resources, and maintaining company standards for product quality and cost-control. The ideal candidate will be a driver of innovation and efficiencies. This position is also expected to draft plans and be 30% chargeable.\nGeneral Responsibilities:\nSystems\nManage specialized hardware and software systems for the technical team.\nWork with other staff to resolve technical issues, training and other system issues.\nIdentify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies.\nPersonnel\nProvide guidance and direction to technical team to ensure operational and technical excellence.\nRecruit, train and supervise technical users in core application skills and standards.\nEvaluate team members for their technical skills, performance, and productivity.\nMaintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization\nQuality Assurance\nPromote and encourage continual improvement\nRecommend best practices for solutions to meet customer business needs.\nParticipate in the implementation of process and product standards.\nEnsure project documentation and contracts follow the standards set forth by the appropriate authority.\nMonitor production to ensure service standard is maintained.\nPerform all supervisory health and safety duties as identified in the company’s health and safety manual.\nProduction\nPlan, organize and manage work plans of technical project team\nPrioritize and schedule resources in coordination with Project Managers\nEnsure projects are completed on budget\nPerform drafting, calculations, and/or plan checking functions.
