Responsibilities include managing power distribution, CRAC units, HVAC systems, structured cabling, and environmental controls across three primary data centers and a manufacturing plant. This role supports uptime, safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and sustainability while partnering with IT, manufacturing, and facilities teams to align infrastructure operations with business needs.\nJob Responsibilities:\nManage and maintain power systems-including UPS, PDUs, generators, and switchgear-across data centers, warehouse distribution centers, and manufacturing sites, including facilities in Mexico.\nOversee CRAC and HVAC systems to maintain optimal cooling and environmental conditions for IT equipment.\nUse BMS and DCIM tools to monitor and respond to environmental alerts, including temperature, humidity, and airflow.\nLead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility infrastructure.\nCoordinate vendors and contractors for equipment service, upgrades, and emergency repairs.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety, electrical, and environmental regulations, including NFPA, OSHA, and ASHRAE standards.\nCreate and maintain documentation, including schematics, SOPs, site rack elevations, and maintenance logs.\nSupport capacity planning and infrastructure scaling for new deployments and expansions across U.S. and international sites.\nParticipate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure facility readiness.\nPartner with IT teams to align physical infrastructure with network and server requirements and support rack-and-stack activities across global sites.\nCollaborate with IT teams to support network and server decommissioning, upgrades, and related infrastructure changes across global sites.\nProvide 24/7 on-call support for critical facility incidents.\nLead audits and inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.\nAdvance energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives across facilities.\nSelect vendors for UPS, PDU, generator, and switchgear maintenance and installation across U.S. and Mexico sites.\nDevelop RFPs for new installations of structured cabling, UPS, PDUs, generators, and switchgear.\nMentor junior technicians and support staff.\nAssist network and server teams with device and server installations while managing cabling and fiber administration in data centers in accordance with Chamberlain and ANSI/BICSI standards.\nSupport access point installations across facilities.\nOversee external colocation spaces through quarterly vendor reviews focused on uptime and critical maintenance records.\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Facilities Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n6-8+ years of experience in LAN/WAN environments installing managing and troubleshooting multiple sites, managing a NOC environment.\n6 -8+ Years managing data center or industrial facility infrastructure.\nProven experience with power systems, HVAC, and CRAC unit.\nExperience in coordinating with IT and manufacturing teams.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.\nKnowledge of NFPA, OSHA, ASHRAE standards.\nExcellent troubleshooting and incident response skills.\nStrong project management and vendor coordination abilities.\nProficient in documentation and reporting tools.\nAbility to work in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.\nNVIDIA AI certification: AI Infrastructure and Operations Fundamentals.\nGenerative AI Bootcamp.\nClaude 101 Workshops INTL.\nFamiliarity with BMS, DCIM, and environmental monitoring tools.\nOther:\nAble to travel between sites (As required).\nAvailability for after-hours support and emergency response\nPreferred Job Requirements:\nCertified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP), PMP, or equivalent.\nExperience managing multi-site data center operations.\nExperience with sustainability and energy efficiency programs.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nFamiliarity with ITIL and infrastructure lifecycle management.\nFamiliarity with hybrid IT environments and edge computing infrastructure\n\nThe pay range for this position is $75,900.00 - $144,525.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
