This role will have experience in designing and implementing systems at scale in a highly available global cloud platform and collaborating with globally distributed teams/stakeholders.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign and engineer infrastructure environment & platform to solve current challenges, as well as creating future opportunities\n\nLead initiatives to improve the platform from inception to design to implementation and optimization, working with many teams and team members.\n\nEstablish working relationships with business members, technical staff, and subject matter experts to help create and execute the infrastructure roadmap\n\nCorrespond with TECH/IT executives and stake holders to maintain and execute the infrastructure roadmap\n\nProvide forward thinking on technology and innovative solutions with a strong emphasis on automating our infrastructure and technology solutions\n\nEvolve PaaS implementations, working with vendor solutions and cloud services\n\nParticipate in monitoring, troubleshooting and RCA for security and infrastructure events\n\nAccountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively; provide high quality work in a deadline driven environment\n\nProvide leadership, assistance and technical guidance to the SRE Team\n\nFacilitate and manage discussions with TECH/ IT Executives, Architects and Senior Engineers\n\nCollaborate with security team on architecture design and tools\n\nProvide governance of our Infrastructure as a service environment; stay current on overall TECH/IT strategy, business goals, technology trends, updates, and releases\n\nResponsible for complying with the security requirements set forth by the Information Security team and the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities Document found in the ISMS Document Library\n\nIndirect Supervisory role as a leader on the team. Lead projects from inception to implementation and lead other team members to succeed in their tasks\n\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\n\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.\n\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\n\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.\n\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field\n\nAn advanced degree in directly applicable area of study may substitute for up to two (2) years of job-related experience\n\n7+ years of infrastructure and operations experience in a technical role, including but not limited to: design, implementation, disaster recovery, network security architecture and engineering\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies and Scrum is required\n\nExperience in software development is required,\n\nExperience with cloud platforms like AWS or others\n\nExperience with IaC at scale with tools like Terraform and ArgoCD\n\nExperience with Kubernetes\n\nExperience with observability tools like Prometheus & Grafana or Datadog and New Relic\n\nExperience with Linux, Windows platforms and active directory\n\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to debug, troubleshoot, and self-diagnose issues in software development\n\nProficient in Network architecture design and documentation\n\nEnjoy working in the technology field and has a good general understanding of how technology works in various areas\n\nGood communication skills, self-motivated, and the ability to work cross functionally\n\nCapable of multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment, effectively and efficiently\n\nPreferred Job Requirements:\nRelevant certifications in cloud engineering (AWS preferred)\n\nMBA or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field\n\nExperience in IoT and durable goods industry.\n\nExperience as a team leader.\n\nExperience managing cloud infrastructure at scale.\n\nExperience optimizing cloud costs as scale.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of network security, VPC design, firewall management, and secure connectivity\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nSecurity tools and mitigations (SIEM, Edge Firewalls)\n\nDeep expertise in Terraform and other IaC frameworks with proven production experience.\n\nMastery of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and GitOps automation using Argo CD or equivalent.\n\nStrong programming and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.\n\nThe pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $193,425.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
