Our flagship brands, LiftMaster® and Chamberlain®, are found in 51+ million homes, and 14 million+ people rely on the myQ® app daily.\n\nAssist the Facilities Manager in ensuring that all physical elements of the facility (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are up to code and maintained to operate at peak efficiency at all times \nAssist the Facilities Manager in creating schedules, coordinating repairs, delegating projects, running reports, monitoring building automation systems and mentoring junior team members \nCoordinate the efforts of contracted services and trades to ensure contract compliance and address special needs as they arise \nCollaborate with the management of the security, card access, video surveillance and fire protection systems regarding the maintenance, operation and procedure definition \nRespond to management and employee needs for ongoing facility support and activities; delegate work assignments to other team members as appropriate to support training and development \nReview, assign and manage work orders, PMs and inspections \nAssist with basic repairs and general maintenance duties as needed \nAssist with mailroom and receiving processes to fill in and stay abreast of the operations while assessing the efficiency of the operations and championing changes as necessary \nInterface with local governmental Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) on permit, code interpretation, operations, fire, safety and police matters \nRespond to after hour emergency calls from Security Services making discretionary decisions regarding response levels up to and including police call out and travel to the site to evaluate response that may also include calling in other support staff \nPlan and manage minor capital plan projects such as new installations and renovations \nThis position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed. \nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. \nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential. \nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. \nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. \nSupervision Exercised\nMotivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members \nDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies \nMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications \nLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values. \nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent \nExperience:\n6-8 years of relevant work experience; experience in directing and training others in building and grounds maintenance; demonstrated ability to manage and direct capital projects including planning, costing, request submittal for approval, scheduling and execution \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMicrosoft Office \nMust be able to multi-task multiple projects keeping to tight timetables \nAbility and demonstrated willingness to mentor others in maintenance operations \nAbility to work independently for the majority of the time and maintain good working relationships with management, co-workers and contractors \nAbility to communicate effectively with staff, contractor personnel and AHJ \nAbility and willingness to implement cultural and process changes that reinforce a company goals \nOther:\nReliable transportation and valid driver’s license; ability to work weekend and off-shift hours \n\nThe pay range for this position is $56,800.00 - $91,675.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
