This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat’s In It For You:\nThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best\nThrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and has been recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the world\nComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company mat \nWhat You Will Do:\nPerforms assembly activities for Variable Speed Drives and other equipment and system products for the Smarten Controllers business line. \nAssemble using diagrams, technical drawing packages, blueprints or process sheets\nInspect results to ensure conformance with requirements using precision measuring equipment and performs rework as needed\nRead work orders; accurately follow documented instructions or drawings; position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device; Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, to join or secure parts in place\nMount assembled components; and perform point-to-point wiring\nOrganizes and verifies all components prior to completing assembly operations.\nAssembles basic sub-assemblies and final assemblies following all applicable procedures and documentation.\nPerform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies\nAssist in maintaining inventory levels\nTroubleshoot assembly problems\nAssist with other job duties as assigned by the supervisor\nMaintains a clean and safe work environment every day\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma/GED \n1 year experience in an electronic assembler role; preferably reading technical drawings/blueprints.\nExperience using hand tools\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions.\nPossesses basic computer skills such as Microsoft office suite\nMust be punctual and eager to improve themselves and their surroundings.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment.\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to lift and carry 50 pounds \nMust be able to bend, squat down, and reach above your head \nAbility to climb stairs and ladders \nMust be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees \nMust be able to stand up to 8 hours\nThis role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing\nAbout Us:\nChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
