This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology\n\nOpportunity for a long term, advanced career path\n\nA culture that values safety first, including training and personal protection\n\nComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nProduction Chemistry\n\nMonitor chemical programs at all North Slope facilities with a diverse background of technical knowledge and experience and focus on continuous improvement of current chemical applications.\n\nMonitor separation efficiency at each facility and recommend chemical, procedural, and mechanical improvements to the processes.\n\nMonitor the chemistry of produced fluids, anticipate associated problems, and recommend best-in-class solutions.\n\nMonitor facility utility systems and recommend required chemical maintenance.\n\nConstantly work to remain experts in best-in-class chemical technology and application.\n\nAct as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all production chemistry issues.\n\nOn-site Problem Solving\n\nUtilize pro-active problem-solving skills as production challenges become apparent.\n\nChemical Program Control\n\nAccountable for the implementation and execution of chemical programs.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of the chemical programs with a focus on product development and testing.\n\nConduct daily coordination meetings to align field operations.\n\nPerform site inspections and field tours to assess operational conditions.\n\nExecute inventory audits at chemical injection points.\n\nMonitor and regulate dosage levels at injection sites to ensure optimal performance.\n\nCollect production fluid samples and perform laboratory testing for chemical treatment performance analysis.\n\nCompile and submit comprehensive daily technical and economic performance reports\n\nCommunication & Account Management\n\nMaintain relationships and communicate with project manager, management, research and development, marketing, corrosion engineers, materials coordinator and the other production chemists.\n\nMaintain relationships and communicate with key customer personnel.\n\nMaintain relationships and communicate with operations, management, and engineering groups.\n\nMaintain relationships and communicate with design groups and provide the required information to best utilize chemical management solutions.\n\nEnsure North Slope contract requirements are met\n\nSchedule and complete business reviews with key customer personnel\n\nTrain and develop field production chemistry team members\n\nAct as leaders through actions and professionalism.\n\nSupport a culture of “Zero Defect” in HSE performance.\n\nDrive business and technical performance improvements with the use of a performance management system.\n\nWork within a multi-functional team that assesses the plant integrity via direct inspection, corrosion and process monitoring, and applies control measures through the deployment of corrosion and process chemicals.\n\nDevelop measures to maintain integrity through applied corrosion control techniques and repair.\n\nCoordination of activities within the North Slope Production Chemistry team. Assist operations with implementation of the recommended chemical programs.\n\nMaintain in-depth knowledge of current and planned production facilities.\n\nPosition Details\nRotational schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off, 21 days on, 21 days off OR 28 days on, 28 days off\n\nIndividual can live anywhere within the United States, but must be able to travel to Anchorage, Alaska for duration of rotation\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in chemistry, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or related fields\n\n3 years of Chemical industry experience\n\nChemical Application knowledge and experience\n\nAbility to travel within assigned sales territory\n\nMust have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record\n\nNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role (US Only)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in production chemistry\nReside in Alaska\nPhysical Demands:\nMay be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.\n\nRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)\n\n3+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience\n\nExperience in oil and gas industry\n\nAbout Us\nChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
