This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat's in it For You:\nAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology Access to best in class resources, tools, and technology\nOpportunity for a long term, advanced career path\nA culture that values safety first, including training and personal protection\nComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!\nWhat You Will Do:\nThis position will primarily be responsible for providing chemical treatments to oil wells and the maintenance and safe operation of any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and/or warehouse locations\nChemical treating of all scheduled wells and locations on a regular basis\nMaintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report safety hazards\nMaintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections\nMaintain driver's hours of service by using Turnpike and/or paper logbook reporting\nKeeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills\nRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment\nProperly load trucks, prepare daily bills of lading, schedule the order of daily treatments and submit treating reports to sales\nPosition Details:\nCandidate must reside in Odessa, TX\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school graduate or GED\nMust currently hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the state in which the candidate resides\nMust be willing and able to obtain Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsement within the first 30 days of employment\nOne (1) year of commercial driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations, within the past three years required\nAcceptable motor vehicle record (3 years)\nAll candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English\nImmigration sponsorship is not offered for this role\nPhysical Demands:\nMust have the ability to Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds chest high.\nMust be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam\nRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThree (3) years commercial driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations, within the past five years required\nExperience with the operation of forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers and gauges\nKnowledge of precautions needed if exposed to H2S (hydrogen sulfide)\nExperience performing warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance, inventory and ordering of chemicals, receiving incoming shipments, organizing warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage, operation of customized chemical manufacturing equipment and the upkeep of warehouse grounds\nAbout US:\nChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
