This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat’s In It For You:\nThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth· \nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best· \nThrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and empowers its employees through continuous improvement· \nThe chance to Improve Lives in our community with regular outreach and volunteerism opportunities· \nThe chance to join a learning and problem-solving culture· \nComprehensive benefits package starting day 1 of employment- medical, dental, vision, matching 401k, company paid life and disability insurance, health savings account with company provided funds, paid vacation & personal time and so much more!\nPosition Details:\nCandidate must reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas\nWork week and shift: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM\nDaily overtime and some weekend work is required\nCompensation package offered: Competitive hourly rate and quarterly bonus eligibility\nSpecific product assembly training will be provided\nNew hire orientation provided\nOn the job training on processes, procedures and product assembly\nClimate controlled warehouse/shop, standing workstations, strenuous work often required\nUniforms provided and required \nPPE requirements include Safety Steel-Toed Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, etc. (Company provided)\nWhat You Will Do:\nRead work instructions, work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding required duties.\nInterpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to build/test quality products. \nAssemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment· \nCompletely assemble, test and package product built on the line· \nSet up moderate to semi-complex test equipment on a variety of products to measure and record assembly conformance to test specifications· \nSet up test stands with appropriate plumbing for pneumatic and hydrostatic tests from required product test specifications· \nComplete required test documentation including test reports· \nInspects, understands, and documents all materials, heat numbers, components, subassemblies, and specifications to assure they meet the accepted quality standards· \nComplete required inspection documentation, marking of heat numbers and nameplate· \nParticipate in Lean events with active involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives· \nSafely operate tools and equipment while performing daily tasks· \nProvide safety observations of other employees, workstations, facility, tools, and equipment· \nObserve the safety of other employees and report unsafe acts or conditions to a leader· \nPractice Stop Work Authority to immediately shut down production and report safety or quality concern(s) to a leader· \nResponsible for the safe operation of tools and machinery while performing daily tasks· \nResponsible observation the safety of others around and reporting unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticed· \nMust immediately shut down production and report safety or quality concern(s) to a supervisor, engineer, manager, EHS or Quality representative \nLevel II Functions:\nAssists in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of less experienced assemblers· \nEnsure accurate movement of inventory through their assigned area - transactions, production reporting, resolution of nonconformances· \nExecute and track shift performance with GEMBA boards daily ensuring root-cause analysis and identify counter measures· \nComplete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) including inventory transactions· \nComplete and report PR's and ECN reports· \nAssists in preparing, maintaining, and utilizing test stations and test equipment for factory and system acceptance testing· \nPerform layered process audits and quality audits as assigned. \nPerform product quality audits and roving audits as required· \nComprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process as it pertains to your respective production cell(s)· \nMust employ Oracle to navigate and execute tasks to complete work orders, WIP transactions, material workbench, supply demand, material requirements, simulate discrete jobs, etc.\nLevel III Functions:\nMust be able to identify areas of opportunity and spearhead improvements\nMentor others who are acting unsafely\nReport unsafe acts to any supervisor, HSE representative of manager\nTeach other assemblers and trainers' proper techniques and procedures for mastered product assembly cells\nResolve most questions and problems in mastered assemblies\nRefer only the most complex issues to higher levels\nApply advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in area of expertise\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED· \n5 years of related manufacturing assembly and testing of the following types of products: relief valves, chemical injection pumps, control/dump/check valves, butterfly valves, liquid level controllers/switches.· \nThree of the five years of experience should be ChampionX Flow Control experience or manufacturing of similar products \nExperience in ERP systems \nPhysical Demands:\nRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.\nMinimal crouching, climbing stairs, stretching, use of a keyboard and mouse, viewing a computer monitor and driving up to 10%\nOccasional bending, pushing, pulling, walking up to 33%\nFrequent lifting between 10lbs up to 40lbs, reaching, twisting, writing and speaking up to 66%\nConstant handling, holding, grasping, turning and fine manipulation with hands, fingering, pinching, picking, standing, seeing and hearing greater than 66%.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTechnical, vocational, military, or related training· \nOracle\nAbout Us:\nChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
