This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best\nThrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture, and empowers through continuous improvement\nWhat You Will Do:\nOperates painting equipment and auxiliary equipment.\nTests and mixes paint as required. \nKeeps paint pots supplied with paint of correct quality.\nStarts up and shuts down the equipment as required.\nObserves rods on conveyors as they pass through the unit, culling out crooked rods.\nKeeps rods separated and packaged for each separate size and grade. Paints identification color on protectors.\nResponsible for quality and quantity of work helpers.\nObtains reasonable production with minimum supervision.\nMaintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.\nInforms supervisor of any malfunction of equipment.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwo year technical degree or equivalent education and/or experience.\nValid driver's license in state of residence required.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nThe employee is regularly required to talk or hear.\nThe employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.\nEmployee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.\nEmployee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.\nEmployee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.\nRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.\nAbout Us\nChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
