This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nYou will join a growing company offering competitive pay and benefits\nAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology\nOpportunity for a long term, advanced career path\nA culture that values safety first, including training and personal protection\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerforms operational support activities for Variable Speed Drives and other equipment and system products such as wiring, cabling, and other complex equipment, usually in the shop environment but some potential field exposure. \nUsing company guidelines, performs on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration. \nPerform emergency repairs. \nTroubleshoot communications packages\nTroubleshoot all VSD or Switchboard types\nMay also be responsible for providing technical support for service technicians on VSDs or other surface equipment in the field.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nBasic knowledge of industrial safety\nBasic knowledge of proper use of hand tools\nBasic knowledge of wiring and cabling\nAbility to execute strategies and initiatives\nAnalytical and problem-solving ability\nIntermediate oral and written communication skills\nOrganization and time management skills\nBasic math skills\nAbility to follow prescribed company policies, procedures, and protocols for installation, service, and equipment maintenance\nInteract politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers\nAbility to effectively plan and organize\nFollow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively\nWork in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs\nWork in an unsupervised environment\nRead, write, and speak English fluently\nUse a computer to communicate, create, and access data\nDetermine the priorities, goals, and objectives of work assigned\nImmigration sponsorship not offered for this role\nPhysical Demands:\nRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
