Employment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening due to the operation of equipment.\nEssential Functions:\nProvides guidance and support to the warehouse team in their day-to-day tasks.\nAssists training sessions on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and best practices.\nEncourages safety culture through reinforcing all rules and guidelines.\nWorks closely with team members to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.\nAssists in the coordination of daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, as an extension of the leadership team.\nCollaborates with the Inventory team to assist in resolving inventory issues.\nEngages in leadership development programs to enhance supervisory skills.\nActively seeks opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and projects to build leadership capabilities.\nFosters a collaborative and positive work environment within the warehouse team.\nLeads daily safety and productivity meetings.\nBecomes a subject matter expert across all functional areas of distribution, both operational and equipment.\nCommunicates effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth workflow.\nWork Experience:\n\n High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or a related field is a plus.\n\n Fundamental understanding of Warehouse Management System (Korber - Edge) and Enterprise Resource Planning software (Microsoft Dynamics - AX), along with Champro internal software platforms Stock Product App (SPA) and Custom Production App (CPA).\n\n Certified to operate material handling equipment including: Turret Truck, Order Picker, Stand Up Reach Truck, Rider Jack, Pack Mule.\n\n Strong organizational and time-management skills.\n\n Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\n\n Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.\n\n Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to personal and professional development\nCompany Culture:\nWe are proud to offer eligible associates a full-range of benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, paid time off, holidays, and reimbursement toward gym membership fees.
