In addition, eligible employees receive paid holidays and paid time off.\nShift:\nSecond Shift: 4:20 pm-2:50 am, Monday-Thursday\nPosition Summary:\nOperates and adjust CNC machines to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. Deburr parts, perform and document quality checks per the control plan. Replace tooling as necessary and perform general machine maintenance.\nRequirements\nOperate CNC machines to perform one or more machine functions on a variety of materials to produce parts and components.\nReview order, control plan, router, job traveler, inspection instructions to determine sequencing, finished work-piece dimensions, and numerical control sequences.\nLoad and unload work-pieces.\nPerforms work-piece inspection checking accuracy against blueprints/specifications using basic gaging techniques for product conformity.\nPerform surface finish operations by sanding and deburring.\nMonitors work-pieces and equipment throughout the machining process to detect issues.\nEnsures coolant and hydraulic oil levels are maintained and changed as required. Performs routine PM checks. \nPerforms inventory material handling including retrieving, moving and storage of material, tooling, and work-pieces. \nMaintains an organized, clean and safe environment and maintains 5 “S” standards. Complies with safety rules including PPE and OSHA standards. \nParticipates in Lean initiatives eliminating wastes including overproduction, defects, transportation, waiting, inventory, motion and over-processing. \nAbility to utilize ERP system for data collection, time and attendance.\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned.\n Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities).\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nBasic math skills (i.e., addition, subtraction, decimals, etc.).\nMechanical aptitude.\nAttention to detail and problem-solving skills. \nProficient reading, writing, oral communication and comprehension in English language.\nAbility to learn basic blue print reading.\nAbility to learn basic inspection skills.\nAbility to adjust off-sets if required.\nAbility to operate multiple machines.\nWillingness to learn. \nPunctual and good attendance.\nCooperative attitude, shares critical information, and remains professional in difficult situations. \nWillingness to learn. Will ask for help when needed.\nAbility to follow instruction and works under supervision.\nAbility to learn basic machine axis.\nMust be able to pass annual visual exam (20-20, corrected, uncorrected, one eye).\n Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)\nPrior CNC Operator experience.\nExperience in general manufacturing role.\nCNC Machine Technology or related certification.\n Pay Range Details:\nCompensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position.
