In addition, eligible employees receive paid holidays and paid time off.\nAvailable Shift:\nFirst Shift: Monday-Friday\nPosition Summary:\nThe Shipping Clerk prepares items for shipment based on customer specifications and verifies and maintains records of outgoing shipments.\n Job Responsibilities:\nOversee end-to-end shipping and logistics operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and on-time delivery of domestic and international orders.\nCoordinate packaging strategies using prefabricated cartons, custom crating, and customer-specific skids/pallets to protect product integrity and meet customer and regulatory requirements.\nManage and optimize shipping routings; collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Planning to adjust schedules and mitigate delivery risks.\nPrepare, review, and maintain shipping and export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Export Declarations, and Letters of Credit.\nCoordinate domestic trucking and international freight logistics, serving as a key liaison between carriers, internal teams, and external partners.\nAdminister daily parcel shipments and maintain carrier systems (UPS manifest), ensuring accuracy and cost-effective shipping practices.\nMonitor shipping schedules and performance metrics to support 98%+ on-time delivery goals, proactively identifying and expediting past-due or high-priority orders.\nSupport inventory accuracy and control through order picking, staging, part verification, and participation in cycle count initiatives.\nPerform material handling operations using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and company vehicles in compliance with safety and operational standards.\nInspect, verify, and document incoming shipments; resolve discrepancies and ensure materials are properly recorded and documented.\nOperate company vehicle to transport parts and materials as required.\nLoad outbound trucks and unload inbound shipments using appropriate material handling equipment.\nContribute to problem-solving efforts and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.\nMaintain a safe, organized and clean work area and comply with company procedures and safety regulations.\nContribute to company goals and continuous improvement efforts.\nOther duties as assigned \nRequirements\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nPrior shipping experience, preferred\nMust be very detail oriented and quality focused\nMust have highly accurate data entry and computer skills\nMust have strong problem-solving and organizational skills\nMust use solid judgement and independent thinking\nMust have a positive and professional demeanor\nMust be capable of physical activity, including standing for up to 8 hours per day, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading trucks, etc. \n Pay Range Details:\nCompensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position.
