Required knowledge includes: construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety.\nLay building foundations.\nMake repairs to the internal and external structure\nPrefabrication, erection, and removal of structural formwork for concrete foundations, wall columns, beams, slabs, and shafts, including re-shoring.\nCement work including: mix and pour material and pouring cement for stairs, and framing for cement\nAssemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.\nConstruct and maintain structural woodwork, shelving, flooring, tables, chairs, etc.\nPerform renovations as required\n Minimum requirements:\nCurrently indentured into an Apprenticeship Program, Carpenter.\nCurrently working in the trade\nTwo or more years of experience as a carpenter\nMotivated, Hardworking, able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed\nKnowledge of carpentry and building maintenance\nKnowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools\nKnowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures\nMathematical and analytical skills necessary to do material and labour estimates\nCSTS training is a prerequisite for employment.
