While based in Calgary, project-related travel will be required.\nThis is not a purely office-based role. We are looking for a builder who understands project execution, can anticipate and manage risk, and is comfortable spending time in the field supporting construction teams.\nLead the planning and execution of transportation infrastructure projects from mobilization through closeout\nPartner closely with field leadership, preconstruction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients\nManage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration\nDevelop and maintain accurate cost reports, cash flow projections, and project forecasts\nMonitor project performance and proactively identify cost, schedule, and execution risks\nSupport change management, claims, and client communications\nEnsure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with Chandos quality standards\nCollaborate with superintendents and project teams to optimize construction sequencing and project execution\n 4+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor not self-development\nExperience delivering bridges, LRT infrastructure, transit stations/hubs, or other complex transportation structures\nProven experience managing project forecasts, budgets, cost control, schedules, risk, and change management\nStrong understanding of how construction sequencing impacts project cost, productivity, and risk\nExperience working directly with clients, consultants, field operations, and subcontractors\nExperience with self-perform crews, structural concrete, structural steel, or complex staged construction is an asset\nWilling and able to travel up to 40-50% as required\nImportant: Read Before Applying\nThis role is focused on complex transportation structures, including bridges, LRT infrastructure, transit stations, and transit hubs.\nThis is likely not a fit if your experience is primarily in:\nHighway paving\nAsphalt production and placement\nRoad resurfacing or road widening\nUnderground municipal servicing\nLinear road construction with limited structural scope\nWe're specifically seeking project managers who have successfully managed the financial and operational delivery of bridge, transit, and major transportation infrastructure projects, not high-volume roadway paving programs.\n Chandos is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture and this includes our recruitment and hiring process.\nWe recognize that our differences are our greatest strengths.
