Your role is based on several axes:\nEnsuring the financial health of the boutique\nMonitoring retail indicators such as turnover, sell-through, boutique traffic and proposing corrective actions where required\nContributing to the setting and piloting of sales targets for the boutique and the Fashion advisors\nReporting on stock and collection performances to optimize buying decisions and sales performance with a specific focus on ensuring product availability, out-of-stock or over-stock situations and proposing corrective actions\nAnticipating business evolutions and supporting boutique management in building strategic action plans to address them\nPreparing the required analyses for weekly and monthly meetings, as well as for each buying session, to ensure a clear understanding and a comprehensive overview\nEnhancing daily operations and taking responsibility for cash, stock, care&repair and alteration activities\nSupervising the management, organization and optimization of these activities within the boutique\nCreating the conditions and providing the adequate support, including some field operational support (performing inventories, handling the till, etc.) so that all targets are met in all of these activities\nOrchestrating the roll-out and follow-up of strategic retail projects such as RFID, new tools etc.\nEnsuring all cash, inventory and security procedures are followed and comply with regulations\nTaking a leadership role of expertise over all processes and procedures and supporting the team in the adoption of new procedures\nPlaying a key role in the orchestration of Chanel&Moi program in collaboration with marketing manager\nMotivating the back-office teams (cash, stock, care&repair and alteration) to create the conditions that promote an expectation-exceeding client journey\nManaging the back-office team (cash, stock, care&repair and alteration) in terms of recruitment, leadership, and setting and monitoring individual goals of team, identifying areas of development and formulating action and training plans to enhance skills and performance\nSupport the development of the VM team with the help of the country VM coordinator\nConveying the House Strategy to boutique teams, ensuring objectives are understood and executed effectively\nEnthusing the team with positive leadership and encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing with complementary functions in the boutique\nEnsuring a positive working environment and reaching the highest retail standards\nOverseeing all maintenance, IT, security, administrative functions for the boutique, both internally and externally\nEnsuring the boutique reflects CHANEL’s standards of luxury to support the client experience on the floor, and that the back-office offers an efficient and nurturing environment for staff\nProvisioning the boutique with required supplies and orchestrating boutique tools order (uniforms, packaging, others) and its implementation (guideline, timing)\nActing as a strong business partner by fostering effective collaboration, maintaining open communication, and building strong working relationships with management-level peers and all relevant stakeholders\nYou are energized by\nThe history and heritage of The House of CHANEL, and its products and collections\nNumbers and business development\nWorking on various projects in a dynamic, fast paced and complex environment \nSwitching regularly from operational tasks to strategic thinking\nMaking decisions as part of a collaborative team\nDeveloping talents within your team and growing and developing your team’s skillset\nCreativity and innovation by testing, learning, and taking new risks \nThinking on your feet’-style problem-solving, whether it be a small and mundane issue or an urgent and complex one\nWhat you will bring to the team\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Finance, Business or Management.\nSignificant experience (5 years) in retail operations and team management\nAnalytical mindset, data interpretation expertise, precision\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills\nDutch and English are mandatory, French is a plus\nFulltime available and living in/around Amsterdam\nFlexibility with the ability to work late nights (events), weekends and public holidays\nInterested?\nWe would like to receive your motivation letter and cv.
