You will also negotiate processes, develop and maintain good relationships with vendors.\nWhat impact you can create at Chanel:\nYou will support the store planning team for CHANEL Canada in Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty as well as Watches & Fine Jewellery;\n\nYou will collect repair and maintenance requirements through in person field inspections and end user reporting;\n\nYou will clearly communicate site specific needs and schedule work with general contractors, skilled trades, artists and trusted vendors;\n\nYou will maintain good working relationships with trusted vendors and groom new vendors;\n\nYou will negotiate processes with the vendors and perform competitive bidding to ensure best prices are obtained from the vendors;\n\nYou will develop and execute a preventative maintenance program that focuses on environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility;\n\nYou will conduct life cycle analysis on common elements to accurately project, procure and schedule repair and maintenance work.\n\nWhat you will bring to the role:\nBackground in design/architecture\n\nExperienced in collecting and assessing quotes, writing purchase orders and managing a yearly budget\n\nDeep understanding of furniture, millwork, artwork and architectural finishes\n\nAbility to read architectural floor plans\n\nAbility to react quickly to urgent requests as well as create and champion preventative maintenance programs\n\nWorking knowledge of local regulations and building codes\n\nProficient in Excel\n\nProficient in AutoCad\n\nProblem solver who enjoys working with a variety of teams to find creative solutions\n\nAbility to travel within Canada\n\nProficiency in French will be considered an asset, but not mandatory\n\nYou are energized by:\nFast-paced design/architecture projects\n\nThinking outside of the box\n\nCollaborating with people\n\nWhat you would gain from this experience:\nThe opportunity to develop and be part of strategic preventative maintenance programs with a focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility\n\nPartner with world class architects, trades, and artists\n\nExposure to the innerworkings of luxury retail environments\n\nCompetitive compensation : $100,000CAD base salary + end of contract bonus\n\nAt CHANEL, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive culture that fosters personal growth, contributing to our collective advancement.
