Senior Manager, Workforce Technology Solutions

About the Job:

CHANEL is looking for a Senior Manager, Workforce Technology Solutions to join our Chanel Tech_ team in Piscataway, NJ or New York, NY. You will lead this Tech Service Pillar by managing a team of internal & external resources, developing roadmaps/priorities, and implementing an operating model to support our systems. This role will be a key partner for our People & Organization (HR), Boutique Excellence / Operations and Payroll teams while being an active member of our Tech Support Teams. Management capabilities will include timekeepingstrategy / policy alignment, labor & scheduling, accruals, boutique punch/kiosk functionality, payroll integration, reporting, and compliance-driven enhancements.

Our ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Workforce Solutions TechPayroll& HRIS experience and a passion for working in a team environment.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

  • Be the go-to Chanel Tech expert for Workforce Solutions (Payroll, Workforce Management, HRIS Integrations)

  • Implement new functionality and direct support for existing functionality within the People & Payroll system landscape including Workday, Ultipro, UKG Dimensions, & UKG Workforce Management

  • Manage an operating model for integrations across payroll, workforce management, and people systems, including UKG, payroll platforms, and upstream/downstream enterprise systems

  • Own and enhance UKG Workforce Management functionality including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, leave balances, time clocks/kiosks, attestation, approvals, and reporting

  • Partner with Payroll, P&O, Retail Operations, and Boutique leadership to improve workforce processes supported by UKG

  • Lead configuration, testing, release management, and production support for UKG WFM enhancements

  • Drive improvements in payroll accuracy, schedule compliance, labor reporting, and associate/manager usability within UKG

  • Manage integrations between UKG WFM, payroll systems, HR systems, finance/cost center structures, and reporting platforms.

  • Lead & participatein senior level meetings (e.g.SteerCos, Leadership Team meetings, Strategic Roadmaps, Governance)

  • Work with business partners to assess software solutions for key initiatives

  • Manage cross-functional teams (‘IT’ resources - internal & external and end-users) associated with projects for any of the above systems.

  • Create project plans for all work tasks associated with the implementation of new functionality

  • Identifyimplementation risks and strategies to mitigate them and engage with appropriate teammembers and leadership for updates

  • Manage the creation and execution of test plans

  • Manage the creation and execution of training plans as necessary

  • Communicate project status to business and IT stakeholders

  • Manage relationships with external vendors for both software & professional services, help negotiate terms and design RFPs and RFIs when strategically necessary

What you willbring to the team:

  • 7+ years’ work experience in Workforce Technology, UKG & HRIS Systems

  • AI data and process experience

  • Retail knowledge and operational understanding of aboutique, store or call center operatefunctionally

  • Strong hands-on expertisewith UKG Workforce Management / UKG Dimensions, including timekeeping, accruals, scheduling, attendance, reporting, and device/kiosk functionality.

  • Experience supporting payroll integrations between UKG WFM and payroll/HR systems.

  • Working knowledge of Workday or other HRIS platforms is preferred, especially as upstream/downstream systems connected to payroll and workforce management processes.

  • Strong UKG product suite experience (e.g.Ultipro, Kronos, Dimensions, UKG Ready, Bryte)

  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels, able to story-tell, present to and influence senior management

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functionally to achieve strategic and tactical goals

  • Ability to create dynamic power point presentations

  • Expert in leading the evaluation of new technologies

  • Creative, innovative, and cross-functional approach to problem solving while considering overarching organizational goals.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables

  • Luxury retail and/or brand experience preferred

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct subordinates and cross functional teams

  • System design experience

  • Ability to partner with the business community and IT to achieve common objectives

  • Current knowledge of latest technology and practices available within the IT industry

  • HR & payroll process knowledge

Position Logistics:

  • A minimum of 7years’ work experience in Workforce Solutions (Payroll and Scheduling)- UKG required

  • Able to work in our office in Piscataway, NJ or New York, NY at least 3 days a week onsite required

  • Retail Industry is strongly preferred

  • Direct people management experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. Master’s degree a plus

Compensation:

  • The anticipatedbase salary range for this position is $87,500-$170,000. A base salary is one componentof the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
