The Payroll Timekeeping Specialist will play an important role in supporting accurate, timely, and compliant timekeeping and payroll operations across the organization. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping to resolve timekeeping questions, review and process adjustments, monitor outstanding requests, and ensure that time and attendance data is complete and ready for payroll processing. Working closely with Payroll team members and system partners, the Payroll Timekeeping Specialist will help strengthen day-to-day operations, improve data accuracy, and support a positive employee and manager experience.\nWhat impact you can create at CHANEL:\nMonitor and manage the Time Off inbox, providing timely, professional support to employees and managers.\nReview, process, and track timesheet adjustments in accordance with company policies, required approvals, and payroll deadlines.\nAudit time-off, attendance, and leave balances to identify discrepancies, missing transactions, and exceptions requiring resolution.\nMonitor outstanding time-off and timesheet requests and follow up with employees and managers to ensure prompt action and approval.\nValidate timekeeping data before payroll processing and communicate identified issues to the Payroll Specialist and Payroll Manager.\nGuide employees and managers on timekeeping processes, time-off policies, and system navigation.\nMaintain accurate and complete documentation of adjustments, approvals, and employee communications.\nPartner with Payroll system administrators to resolve timekeeping issues, improve data accuracy, and enhance the user experience.\nSupport periodic audits, reporting, system testing, and time-and-attendance process improvement initiatives.\nProvide support for ad hoc projects and other payroll or timekeeping-related activities as needed.\nYou are energized by:\nDelivering responsive, employee-focused support and helping resolve timekeeping concerns.\nMaking processes work effectively for timekeeping system users.\nWorking with systems, data, and process workflows.\nBuilding expertise and becoming a trusted resource for employees, managers, and internal partners.\nApplying strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.\nHandling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.\nContributing to special projects, process improvements, and evolving business needs.\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nExperience in UKG Pro, UKG Pro Workforce Dimension a plus\nBasic understanding of Payroll processing & Timekeeping practices\nMicrosoft Excel and Microsoft Office expertise.\nA technical mind: strong understanding of \"input/output\"\nComfort with analyzing large data sets\nAS/AA in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or Related Finance field preferred\nPosition Logistics:\nPartially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at our Piscataway, NJ office.\nCompensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,600- $102,100. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position.
