Process Supervision and Technical Coordination\n\nSupervise and coordinate fabrication operations involving Wire EDM, EDM, Finecut, Profile Grinder, Manual Milling and other relevant precision machining processes.\n\nEnsure fabrication activities are carried out according to approved technical drawings, work instructions, process specifications and quality standards.\n\nProvide technical guidance to technicians and operators on machining methods, process parameters, tooling requirements and fabrication problems.\n\nReview fabrication methods and process sequences to ensure efficient and consistent production of precision components.\n\nMonitor machine loading, process capability and resource utilization to maximize operational efficiency.\n\nEnsure operators and technicians comply with established procedures, quality requirements and safety practices.\n\nCoordinate with maintenance personnel and equipment suppliers to resolve machine-related issues affecting fabrication operations.\n\nC. Process Improvement and Productivity Enhancement\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve fabrication processes, machining methods, workflow and overall operational efficiency.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce machining time, setup time, material wastage, rework and operating costs.\n\nAnalyze fabrication performance data to identify recurring issues, process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.\n\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring process and quality problems.\n\nEvaluate and standardize improved fabrication methods, work procedures and process parameters where applicable.\n\nMonitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements and report measurable results to management.\n\nSupport the introduction of new machining technologies, equipment, tooling and process methods to improve fabrication capability.\n\nD. Quality Control and Process Compliance\n\nEnsure fabricated components meet specified dimensional tolerances, geometric requirements and technical drawing specifications.\n\nEstablish and monitor appropriate in-process inspection and verification requirements in coordination with the Quality Department.\n\nReview non-conforming components, rework cases and quality issues to identify process-related causes and prevent recurrence.\n\nEnsure fabrication processes comply with approved procedures, quality management system requirements and applicable internal standards.\n\nMaintain and review fabrication records, inspection results, process documentation and improvement reports.\n\nWork closely with Quality, Tooling, Production and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues and improve component reliability.\n\nE. Machine Capacity and Resource Management\n\nMonitor machine utilization, capacity, downtime and workload distribution to support effective fabrication planning.\n\nIdentify capacity constraints and recommend improvements in machine allocation, manpower deployment and process scheduling.\n\nCoordinate preventive maintenance activities with the Maintenance Department to minimize unplanned downtime and disruption to fabrication schedules.\n\nMonitor the availability and usage of raw materials, cutting tools, electrodes, grinding wheels, wire and other fabrication consumables.\n\nEvaluate resource requirements and recommend equipment, tooling or process investments where necessary.\n\nSupport cost-control initiatives through improved material utilization, reduced rework and optimized machining processes.\n\nF. Documentation, Training and Competency Development\n\nEnsure fabrication schedules, work orders, process records, machine utilization data and technical documentation are properly maintained.\n\nPrepare and present reports on fabrication performance, delivery status, machine utilization, quality performance and process improvement activities.\n\nDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process documentation where required.\n\nGuide and develop technicians and operators in fabrication processes, technical problem-solving and process control.\n\nCoordinate on-the-job training (OJT) and competency assessments to ensure employees meet the required technical standards.\n\nIdentify technical skill gaps and recommend appropriate training to improve departmental capability.\n\nG. Safety, Health and Environmental Compliance\n\nEnsure all fabrication activities comply with company safety policies, occupational health requirements and environmental procedures.\n\nEnsure machines, tools and working areas are maintained in safe operating condition.\n\nPromote compliance with PPE requirements, 5S practices and established machine safety procedures.\n\nIdentify potential workplace hazards and coordinate corrective actions to prevent accidents and equipment damage.\n\nSupport internal audits, safety inspections and continuous improvement activities related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.\n\nRelevant experience in precision machining, tooling, part fabrication, manufacturing or process engineering is preferred.\n\nGood understanding of machining processes such as Wire EDM, EDM, grinding, milling and other precision fabrication methods.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, dimensional tolerances and geometric dimensioning requirements.\n\nExperience in fabrication planning, machine capacity management, process improvement and technical problem-solving is an advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis and quality management
