All associates are expected to read and understand the SOP prior to utilizing equipment or performing job-related tasks.\nOn the job training available!\nRequirements\nTypical job duties include:\nSet-Up:\nMake exact and concise set-up on all machines within the work cell.\nRemove and replace tooling as required for a variety of parts.\nPerform precision set-ups involving alignment and securing of fixtures, setting speeds and feeds and various other parameters according to the part to be produced and the machine to be used.\nOn initial set-up use precontrolled set-up procedures.\nPrecision measuring instruments such as micrometers and dial indicators must be used.\nWork with the CNC control panel.\nPerform Production Run:\nPlace part in holding fixture and clamp in place, start machine by push button, foot pedal or lever.\nUnclamp and remove part when machine completes operations.\nDeburr part, assemble parts, weld rivet, Double Disc, Notch the nose, and repeat the cycle.\nCheck parts with gauges provided and record finding on charts.\nMake all adjustments necessary to ensure parts stay within specified control limits.\nSimultaneous set-up and operation of multiple machines is required due to long cycle times.\nKeep coolant and oil levels at the proper levels and concentrations.\nAfter hardening is done, check handle alignment and straighten if needed.\nCheck joint tensions and adjust as needed.\nWeigh gage as needed.\nCheck handle spread and gage as needed.\nCheck nose gap and gage as needed.\nRope cut pliers following standard procedures.\nRe-file as needed.\nNeedle Nose pliers must have the nose adjusted to meet Quality standards.\nCell operators will be required to learn all of the jobs that are performed within the work cell.\nComplete appropriate paperwork and maintain 5S requirements.\nQualifications:\nRequires some initiative and ingenuity to achieve the proper goals.\nGood ability and vision of adjustments of different characteristics on all pliers needed.\nBenefit Overview:\n$500 Sign on Bonus\nReferral Bonus Program\nPaid Time Off: Vacation, Personal, 10 Holidays, and Your Birthday\n$125 Boot Voucher\nMedical, Vision, Dental, and Voluntary life insurance options\nHSA card with employer contributions \n Product Incentive Program:\nChannellock encourages and rewards productivity by offering a company-wide incentive program based on a calculation aimed at reducing the number of hours it takes to ship 100 pairs of pliers.
