The Financial Controller supports the CEO of Cylindo by maintaining accurate financial records, delivering a timely month-end close, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safeguarding the integrity of financial data.\nThe Financial Controller plays a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting scalable growth in a multi-entity, multi-currency SaaS environment. The role works across the finance team and wider organisation, collaborating with colleagues in other departments and contributing to initiatives that advance Cylindo's business objectives.\nThis hands-on role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong accounting expertise and a track record in an international business.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Ledger & Month-End Close\n\nLead the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely reporting.\n\nMaintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with group policies.\n\nSupport preparation of monthly reporting packs.\n\nReview journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, revenue and intercompany entries, and prepare journals where required\n\nReview monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all entities and prepare reconciliations where required.\n\n2. Revenue & Billing Support (SaaS Environment)\nEnsure subscription revenue and deferred revenue are recorded accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.\n\nReconcile ARR/MRR reports to accounting records.\n\nWork with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing discrepancies.\n\n3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight\nOversee AP and AR processes.\n\nMonitor aged receivables and support collection follow-ups.\n\nEnsure vendor payments are accurate and timely.\n\n4. Intercompany & Multi-Entity Accounting\nPrepare and reconcile intercompany recharges in line with group policy.\n\nSupport multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange adjustments.\n\nMaintain proper documentation and reconciliation of cross-border transactions.\n\n5. Tax & Statutory Compliance\nOversee VAT, payroll tax, and other filings across Denmark, Macedonia, UK and US.\n\nPrepare annual statutory financial statements.\n\nManage audit processes across the group entities.\n\nLiaise with external accountants and advisors as needed.\n\n6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement\nMaintain supporting documentation for all key accounts.\n\nEnsure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.\n\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve and automate finance processes.\n\n7.
