You will architect scalable search solutions, drive implementation of Generative AI capabilities, and act as a technical mentor to other engineers. This role requires deep enterprise search expertise and the ability to operate cross-functionally with customers, engineering, and product teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitecture Leadership:\nServe as the technical lead across high-impact enterprise search deployments.\n\nArchitect secure, scalable solutions that include custom data pipelines and GenAI assistants.\n\nDefine integration strategy across multiple enterprise systems and business units.\n\nLead enterprise-level workshops and technical roadmap planning.\n\nAdvanced Technical Implementation:\nCustomize and extend the Sinequa platform using modern web and backend technologies.\n\nBuild connectors, REST API interfaces, and workflow automation to enhance platform extensibility.\n\nOptimize ingestion pipelines, relevance scoring, and contextual search experiences.\n\nConfigure vector-based retrieval, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks.\n\nClient Strategy and Engagement:\nGuide customers through long-term success plans and advanced use case discovery.\n\nPresent at executive and technical stakeholder meetings with clear business impact narratives.\n\nConduct advanced-level training, enablement, and architectural reviews.\n\nCollaboration and Leadership:\nAct as a mentor to other engineers; provide technical guidance and code reviews.\n\nCollaborate with pre-sales, product, and engineering to shape future platform enhancements.\n\nContribute reusable code modules and documentation for internal and customer use.\n\nKey Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).\n\nExperience implementing enterprise search platforms.\n\n8+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing engineering role.\n\nStrong programming background (Python, Java, C#, etc.).\n\nAdvanced frontend development expertise with Angular, TypeScript, or React.\n\nDeep experience with REST APIs, identity management, and enterprise-grade security.\n\nProven ability to lead multi-phase deployments and cross-functional customer teams.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud infrastructure tools.\n\nStrong communication skills and experience interfacing with executive stakeholders.\n\nBonus Points\nExperience in AI-powered search (LLM, RAG, embedding generation, relevance tuning).\n\nKnowledge of knowledge graph or ontology-driven search systems.\n\nHands-on work with containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).\n\nFamiliarity with enterprise compliance and data governance in regulated environments.\n\nWhy Join ChapsVision?\nBe part of a small, dynamic team growing the North American market for ChapsVision\n\nWork on an AI-native search platform with enterprise impact\n\nFast-growing, innovative work environment with strong career growth opportunities\n\nCompetitive salary structure with high earning potential\n\nGenerous PTO, health benefits from day one, 401(k) with employer match, wellness and commuter benefits, and more!\n\nCompensation\nThe annual compensation for this role ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 base, depending on experience.\nWe are currently unable to consider candidates who require, or will require in the future, sponsorship for work authorization.
