You will lead technical hiring across engineering and product, and run go-to-market and support searches alongside it.\nAt its core, this role is about building: the team, the process and the hiring culture that lets an ambitious company scale.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nPartnering directly with founders to set hiring priorities, define roles and run the process.\n\nManaging full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening through to offer and close.\n\nLeading hiring for senior software and AI engineers, alongside product, go-to-market and support roles.\n\nBuilding the hiring process from scratch: interview structure, scorecards and candidate experience.\n\nUsing data to track progress and inform decisions at every step.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nExperience as a founding or first recruiter at a seed or Series A startup.\n\nA track record of closing senior software or AI engineers.\n\nExperience partnering directly with founders or executive leaders on hiring.\n\nExperience running technical and non-technical searches at the same time.\n\nConfident sourcing across a range of platforms, with a focus on quality and long-term fit.\n\nBased in San Francisco, or elsewhere in the US and able to travel to San Francisco regularly.\n\nBenefits and Rewards Designed Around You\nBecause your hard work deserves more than just recognition-it deserves celebration.
