AI is one of the biggest opportunities we see for them, and it only works if the people in these companies actually use it.\nTasks\nThe Role\nGerman (C1+) and English requiredYou make sure 10+ software companies get real value out of AI.\nYou work embedded in one of our portfolio platforms. You own the AI Hub for its companies. The AI Hub is our Open WebUI-based AI platform: each company has its own instance in its own tenant, and the data stays in the EU. You keep it running, roll it out, fix what breaks, and help each company's people use it well.\nYou are part of the AI Core Team in the CTO office. You work closely with us: you bring back what you see in the field, test new capabilities, and help shape the platform for all 55+ companies.\nYou are hands-on. You deploy, configure, fix and integrate. Each company also has AI Champions who drive adoption locally. You are their technical backbone: when something needs engineering, you do it, and you make sure the next similar request is faster.\nWhat You Will Do\nRun the AI Hub for 10+ companies: deployments, updates, configuration, SSO with Entra ID, monitoring, backups and incident handling\n\nOnboard companies and teams: set up skills, knowledge bases and tools and get each company productive on the Hub\n\nBe the technical point of contact: when something breaks or a Champion is stuck, you diagnose and fix it. You document recurring issues so they get solved once.\n\nConnect the Hub where a use case needs it: Microsoft 365 / Graph, CRM, ticketing and ERP systems, through tools, MCP servers and REST APIs\n\nTurn repeated questions into reusable assets: documentation, templates and short hands-on sessions\n\nWork with the AI Core Team: share patterns across companies, test new features, and feed back into the platform roadmap\n\nSupport our M&A team occasionally (around 10 to 20% of your time) on technical questions, for example assessing the tech and AI stack of acquisition targets\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired\nGerman (C1 or higher) and fluent English. You work with managing directors and non-technical teams in German every day. We cannot make exceptions here.\n\nProduction operations experience. You have deployed and operated containerised applications in production (Docker, CI/CD, Linux, a major cloud, Azure preferred), and you were responsible when they broke. This usually means 2+ years in a DevOps, platform, SRE or backend role.\n\nPython you are comfortable reading, debugging and extending\n\nHands-on with LLMs. You use them seriously in your own work and have built something with them, at work or on the side. You know where they fail.\n\nYou explain technical things so non-technical people understand them and can act on them. You are comfortable being the go-to technical person for teams that are not technical.\n\nStrong signals\nEnterprise identity: Entra ID, OAuth, SSO\n\nSelf-hosted LLM platforms such as Open WebUI or LibreChat\n\nMCP, tool calling, agent frameworks\n\nInfrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)\n\nA support, solutions or customer-facing technical role in your background\n\nExperience working across several companies, tenants or a group structure\n\nThis role is not for you if\nyou want to spend most of your time building new AI products from scratch\n\nyou are looking for ML research or model training\n\nyou want to work only with engineers and avoid direct contact with business teams\n\nBenefits\nWhat You GetReal ownership: 10+ companies, one platform, and you are the person who makes AI work there\n\nA small team in the CTO office with a direct line to leadership.
