Our employees make all the difference in our success!\nRole:The Bereavement Supervisor (BVSS) provides programmatic oversight for the affiliate’s Bereavement Programs and provides clinical counseling expertise and programmatic consultation to Bereavement Specialists, members of the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and the community, including the adult bereavement program and the program for grieving children.\nQualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Social Work (CSWE accredited), Counseling, or related field\nProfessional Licensure as required by state where care is being provided.\n- In Florida LCSW, LMHC or LMFT\nMinimum of four (4) years of related experience\nMinimum of up to one (1) year of supervisory/lead experience\nExperience related to the concepts and practices of death and dying with children and adults\nExperience in children, family, and group modalities and intervention\nPrevious experience working with an EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical/Health Record) system\nAble to remain calm and professional and trouble shoot and manage children/family crisis situations\nAbility to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)\nIntermittent Driver - Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per Company policy. Job Responsibilities:\nCollaborates with the Social and Volunteer Services Manager for provision and operation of the adult and children’s bereavement programs.\nDevelops and maintains required Bereavement database, records and files, in a manner reflecting timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and legibility.\nMaintains focus on programmatic overview and development, support, and supervision of volunteer staff for Bereavement Department and Children’s Grief Center.\nAssists Social and Volunteer Services Manager to maintain and enhance bereavement programs, including groups, camps, and other special events and programs within the department.\nAssesses bereavement care needs of survivors (i.e., adults, children, and families) in accordance with operational guidelines established for the department.\nProvides clinical oversight for support group meetings, including supervisory, debriefing, and educational sessions for Grief Center volunteers; provides back-up to Bereavement Specialists.\nProvides follow-up with clients and refers to community agencies for additional assistance.\nProvides appropriate bereavement training, case management, consultation, education and supervision for staff, students, and volunteers assigned to the department.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nCompensation Pay Range:\n$67,976.53 - $106,213.33This position requires consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment is made, as well as on-going compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy.\nAll Chapters Health System employees performing services for Florida affiliates are submitted through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse to verify eligibility after a conditional offer of employment is made as well as ongoing eligibility.
