This role is responsible for full-cycle driver recruitment, onboarding, driver training, safety compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Safety, and Compliance teams to attract top driving talent while ensuring adherence to transportation regulations and company policies.\nResponsibilities\nManage full-cycle recruitment for Class 1/CDL drivers, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.\nMaintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers through job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.\nVerify driver qualifications, licenses, background information, and required hiring documentation.\nConduct driver orientations, road evaluations, safety training, and ongoing coaching programs.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and transportation safety standards.\nInvestigate accidents, incidents, and injuries, completing required reports and recommending corrective actions.\nPerform safety inspections and support accident prevention, driver engagement, and safety awareness initiatives.\nFacilitate regular safety meetings and promote a culture of safety, compliance, and driver welfare.\nWork closely with Operations, Safety, and Compliance teams to support terminal performance and driver retention\nRequirements\n3 to 5 years of experience in transportation safety, driver training, recruitment, or compliance.\nPrevious experience in driver recruitment and safety coordination within the trucking industry is preferred.\nExperience recruiting drivers across Canada and the United States is required.\nStrong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, Hours of Service (HOS), driver qualification files, and transportation compliance standards.\nSolid understanding of the trucking and logistics industry.\nExperience conducting driver orientations, road evaluations, and safety training programs.\nTruck driving experience is considered a strong asset.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to
