Our systems run 24/7 to support trucking and logistics operations, so the network has to be fast, secure and always available. You'll work closely with our infrastructure, SRE, security and development teams in Canada.\nPlease note this is a Contract opportunity for potential to convert in a permanent role..\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, build and manage cloud networks (VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, peering) across GCP, Azure and AWS.\nSet up and maintain secure connections between cloud environments, data centres and our offices and terminals, using site-to-site VPN, Cloud Interconnect, ExpressRoute or Direct Connect.\nManage cloud load balancers, DNS, NAT and network gateways for our production services.\nConfigure and maintain firewalls, security groups and network policies to keep traffic secure.\nSupport networking for our Kubernetes platform (ingress, network policies, service-to-service traffic).\nBuild and manage network infrastructure as code with Terraform.\nMonitor network performance, troubleshoot latency and connectivity issues, and take part in an on-call rotation.\nSupport zero-trust and secure remote access tools such as Zscaler, Cloudflare or Palo Alto Prisma.\nDocument network designs and keep diagrams and runbooks up to date.\nPlan for capacity, high availability and disaster recovery, and help manage cloud networking costs.\nRequirements\n6-8 years in network engineering, including at least 2-3 years with cloud networking.\nHands-on experience with networking on at least one major cloud (GCP, Azure or AWS).
