Full time - Long Term Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Perform regular yard checks and report any issues or concerns.
• Move and organize trailers and equipment around the yard as required.
• Assist with trailer and reefer washing/cleaning.
• Perform reefer unit fuel-ups and basic checks.
• Help keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform winter yard cleanup, including snow removal and general housekeeping as required.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, or organizing equipment and materials.
• Complete various miscellaneous small jobs and general maintenance tasks around the yard as assigned.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard
• Report any issues or damages to trailers
• Must be able to able to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Previous experience working in a trucking yard, transportation, warehouse, or similar environment is an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions, including winter.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good physical condition and able to perform hands-on work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take on different tasks as required.
