Full time - Long Term Opportunity
Responsibilities
- Perform regular yard checks and report any issues or concerns.
- Move and organize trailers and equipment around the yard as required.
- Assist with trailer and reefer washing/cleaning.
- Perform reefer unit fuel-ups and basic checks.
- Help keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform winter yard cleanup, including snow removal and general housekeeping as required.
- Assist with loading, unloading, moving, or organizing equipment and materials.
- Complete various miscellaneous small jobs and general maintenance tasks around the yard as assigned.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard
- Report any issues or damages to trailers
- Must be able to able to lift 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Previous experience working in a trucking yard, transportation, warehouse, or similar environment is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions, including winter.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Good physical condition and able to perform hands-on work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take on different tasks as required.
