We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual ideas and strategies.\nWork Schedule:\nAfternoon shift: Monday to Friday - 1pm - 9pm CST\nWe´re looking for a Weekend Dispatcher who is responsible for weekend shipment monitoring, customer communication, track and trace activities, exception management, appointment coordination, operational reporting, and proactive problem resolution to ensure efficient transportation operations and exceptional customer service.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitor and track active shipments throughout afternoon hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance.\nCommunicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues.\nUpdate customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information.\nCoordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met.\nIdentify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions.\nHandle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow-up.\nPrepare and distribute overnight reports, ensuring all critical updates and exceptions are communicated to the overnight and daytime operations team.\nMaintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.\nRequirements\n2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred.\nAbility to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them.\nStrong knowledge and understanding of land transportation. \nStrong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.\nStrong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.\nAbility to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.\nBenefits\nProfessional growth career\nCompetitive pay package\nIn Charger Logistics we care about giving equal opportunities to each candidate and employee, we consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, medical condition, or disability.\nWe invest time and support in you to provide the room to learn, grow and work your way up.
