We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

As a Warranty Administrator you will work closely with Warehouse, Safety and our Shop team to manage complete and accurate processing of warranty claims. You will be expected to contribute to the operational efficiency of the Service Department. The incumbent will also be responsible to analyze transaction history in our system, reconcile and prepare weekly/monthly reports.

Responsibilities -:

  • Perform daily review of all completed truck repairs, and determination of repairs that are covered under warranty.
  • 1-2 years of previous warranty experience is preferred, with knowledge of truck and trailer parts and repair processes considered an asset.
  • Submit warranty claims through manufactures website and following up with claims.
  • Track and document damaged inventory received from suppliers, for reimbursement or credit.
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the applicable policies and procedures manual.
  • Check each repair order against the truck’s service history to avoid making duplicate claims.
  • Maintain a record of all claims submitted, returned/rejected, or paid and the current status.
  • Provide a daily report to the service manager regarding claims status.
  • Review all returned and/or rejected warranty claims and prepare the repair orders for immediate resubmission.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Inventory management experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS office is required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
